The man, who is in his 50s, is now being prosecuted for one case of rape of a child, and some 30 cases of, among other things, attempted rape of a child and attempted exploitation of children through the purchase of a sexual act.
Among other things, he is said to have had an oral intercourse with a young girl at the age of 12, where he also touched the plaintiff's body inside and outside the clothes.
The man arranged a meeting with the girl in Dalarna after they had contact via mobile messages.
The evidence provides a detailed description of his plan to have intercourse with her on the day in question.
Contacted girls in several regions
The man is also accused of having sought contact with several girls in the counties of Dalarna and Gävleborg, among others.
In the evidence, there are several screenshots of his contacts with the girls, then via various chat apps.
In several of the cases, it appears that there was a danger that the crimes would be completed.
In total, there are over 30 charges.
