Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin, at the plenary session on the global economy and health of the G20 summit, called for accelerating the process of countries' recognition of national coronavirus vaccines and vaccination certificates.

It was also reported that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, at a meeting with the Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, noted the importance of including the vaccines developed in Russia for COVID-19 in the list of drugs recommended by WHO for use in an emergency.
