Our newspaper, Khartoum, October 29, Wang Yunsheng and Yu Hao reported: On October 29, local time, my second batch of Abye peacekeeping helicopter detachment and the first batch of peacekeeping helicopter detachment were in a rotation and handover ceremony at the United Nations Abye. The Iraqi Interim Security Forces camp was held.

It is reported that my second batch of helicopter units for peacekeeping missions to Abyei was mainly formed by a certain army aviation brigade of the 82nd Army. The units were assigned a command and related business groups, and consisted of three mission squadrons.

Before the handover, the two teams had a comprehensive exchange on the safety situation in the Abyei region, the flight environment, tasks, working relations, and health and epidemic prevention.

The Abyei area covers an area of about 10,000 square kilometers and is one of the disputed areas between Sudan and South Sudan.

In June 2011, the UN Security Council decided to set up UNISFA to oversee the withdrawal of Sudan and South Sudan from their respective forces from the Abyei area.
