His Highness said, "We have chosen to meet near Ghafa Al-Shabhana, which is estimated to be about 300 years old, as it is precious to us and has a proud history and a memory of which we are proud. The late father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, visited it several times, and there were no trees around it during that period, so he decided to plant a number of local perennial trees near it, and to support its tilted branches for fear of falling, and to give it more care In order to preserve its greenness and its survival.” His Highness affirmed the continuation of attention and care and preservation of it constantly.

His Highness also directed the construction of a number of housing for citizens in Al Sila City, in order to complete the housing projects that were previously implemented in the same area.

These directives came in the interest of the wise leadership to provide the elements of a decent life for citizens, and to prepare adequate housing in a way that enhances family stability and provides the best means of decent living for citizens, to play their role in the comprehensive development process in the country.

In another context, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan called upon citizens to be keen to follow precautionary measures, and to follow up with the competent health authorities to obtain supportive doses of vaccines against “Covid-19”, which would help improve the health situation. and raise the societal immunity.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan also touched on the issue of fisheries in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. His Highness said, "The Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi has conducted studies over the past years on the marine situation in the emirate, and it became clear to us that the fish stock is being overfished, so we decided to stop fishing. Four years ago, a number of decisions were taken in the interest of the fishing profession and fishermen, including the decision to ban fishing by the “Al-Hayali and Al-Hallaq” method, with the aim of enhancing the proportion of fish stocks in the emirate.

His Highness added, "We have issued another decision that includes banning gargoyle fishing, while compensating local fishermen according to their income from their harvest from fishing boats," stressing that "the fishing profession we inherited from our parents and grandparents, so we have to preserve it and support its sustainability."

For their part, the people of Sila City welcomed His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, expressing their great happiness at meeting His Highness.

The people valued His Highness' care and interest in providing them with the means of stability and the necessities of a decent life in light of the renaissance and progress the UAE is witnessing, and His Highness' keenness to maintain constant communication with them.
