, the communities held their appointments in those weeks to renew the leadership of the socialists in the territories. In

there will be no contest. Emiliano García-Page renews his barony this weekend in a meeting where the Castilian-Manchegos maintain their pulse in the 'water war': "The transfer has to come to an end."

is a leading actor in two of the most important cracks that cause anxiety in the Socialists: water and regional financing. This weekend's congress, attended by about 1,000 people, serves to establish, in this case rather to ratify, the position of the formation on these issues, which will be key in the coming months in the political debate and in which there are different positions within the party.

consider the step taken by the Government of Spain to reduce the transfer "correct", but "insufficient". His position, which clashes with that of his colleagues in

, Murcia or Andalusia, is clear: "We are very clear that we must not lose the perspective that the transfer, at a given moment, has to come to an end".

The transfer was one of the controversial and sensitive issues of the PSOE federal congress, to the point that to avoid a 'war' in the middle of the conclave, the party tiptoed past. It did not adopt a position neither for the defense without fissures of the "maintenance of the Tajo-Segura transfer" as requested by
