The health crisis will not have slowed down the success of the Personal Training Account, on the contrary.

Between 2019 and 2020, the number of funded training almost doubled according to a Dares study published on Thursday.

But two years after the creation of the application, the CPF will be given a facelift with one objective: to gain in efficiency.

Are we heading towards a new Personal Training Account?

Almost two years after its launch, the CPF will be getting a makeover: on November 4, a new website and a new mobile application will be launched for greater readability and, above all, greater efficiency.

Driving license, first training

The success of the CPF is well established.

Since its launch, two million files have been processed and more than one million training sessions were provided last year.

But not all of them meet the real needs of businesses, which poses a number of problems, especially in a context of labor shortages.

This is what explains Michel Beaugas, confederal secretary of Force Ouvrière. "When we look at the top 10 training courses, it is the driving license that comes out first. And the question arises as to whether it is up to vocational training to pay for it," he wonders. "There is also the example of compulsory certifications which, normally, are the responsibility of the company. It is up to them to pay and not to the employee with his CPF. So we want a refocusing on qualifying training that allows the employee either to improve qualifications within his company, or to be able to make a professional transition to another company, "he explains.

But on the strength of its success, the CPF has also attracted unscrupulous actors.

So to avoid scams, the government is setting up Qualiopi certification.

This is a kind of trust mark that training centers will have to obtain if they want to access funding.

It will come into force on January 1st.
