October 29, 2021 The alleged murderer of Alessio Madeddu, 52, the fisherman and cook from Teulada, found dead yesterday in front of his restaurant in Porto Budello in Teulada, Sardinia, would have confessed last night.

A 43-year-old baker from Sant'Anna Arresi, originally from Erice, would hit him with a hatchet.

As anticipated by the newspaper L'Unione Sarda, the man allegedly confessed to the crime by telling the Carabinieri that he killed the chef because he was jealous of his wife who worked at the restaurant and with whom the victim allegedly had a clandestine relationship.

Also according to what was reconstructed, the baker would have lured Alessio Madeddu out of the annexe, where he was under house arrest, for attacking two carabinieri with a bulldozer in November 2020, then he would have started hitting him.
