Three deaths in less than two weeks

This is the third fatal accident involving a cyclist in and around Clermont-Ferrand, in the space of ten days.

On October 17, a fifty-something died hit by a car between Lussat and Malintrat.

The victim was struck at an intersection on the D54.

Two days later, a 77-year-old cyclist died on Fernand-Forest Avenue after a collision with a motorist.

Faced with these tragedies, the Vélorution collective calls on cyclists to demonstrate during a “White Vélorution” organized this Saturday, October 30.

The procession will go to the scene of the various accidents.

Bicycles painted white and flowers will be left there, if the families of the victims accept it.
