The man who was found stabbed in his apartment died shortly afterwards from his injuries.
The 57-year-old, who was arrested shortly afterwards, has been in custody since March, and the district court is now convicting him of murder.
According to the district court, it has been proven that the 57-year-old killed the victim by stabbing him in the chest with a knife.
The 57-year-old has admitted that he was in the apartment at the time in question but has denied that he stabbed the victim to death.
He has also claimed self-defense, and told that the murdered man attacked him with a tennis racket, but the district court does not consider that this is enough to claim self-defense.
