The ranking is based on four criteria, you check how good each municipality is at: offer consumer guidance, budget and debt advice, how good they are at food control and how easy it is to get cash.

Depending on how well you follow the criteria, you are awarded a point, where 0 is the worst and 100 the best.

Based on those criteria, Ydre län is the best municipality with 76 points just ahead of Linköping, which received 75 points.

The worst in the county was Ödeshög with 26 points, which is in shared last place with Norrtälje, Årjäng, Arjeplog and Bräcke municipality.

All municipalities that have ended up at the bottom lack consumer guidance, which was one of the criteria in the ranking.

The fact that municipalities are closing down their consumer guidance is also a growing trend in the country.

- The trend is clear.

During the three years that we have examined the municipalities, a total of 39 municipalities have laid down their consumer guidance, says Daniel Kjellberg, editor-in-chief of the magazine Råd & Rön, in a press release.
