Twelve carers from the hospitals of Pithiviers, Montargis and Orléans presented a request for interim suspension on Wednesday before the judges of the administrative court of Orléans (Loiret).

All were suspended from their duties on September 15 because they refused to be vaccinated against Covid-19.

With this action, they hope to be able to return to their services as soon as possible, reports France Bleu Orléans.

"As a citizen, we no longer exist"

“There is no end to this suspension, and that is not normal.

It puts people in a very difficult situation.

Many of these caregivers are women, often single.

Without any salary, without any compensation, some of them had to return to their families because they have no means of subsistence, ”explains Sylvie Mazardo, the lawyer for the twelve caregivers.

The first court decisions on the vaccination obligation in France, and in particular concerning caregivers in Bourges, do not go in their direction.

According to the summary judge, the decision on this case should be known by the beginning of next week.
