package of expenses for welfare and climate

that the president of the United States will shortly illustrate on TV and which is worth 1,750 billion dollars, less than half of the approximately 4,000 initially planned, but still an unprecedented expense, to be added to the infrastructure plan from 1,200 billion.

Of the 1,750 billion, 400 will be dedicated to childcare and pre-school age, 555 to clean energy and climate and 35 to health coverage. In addition to these, another 100 will be destined for immigration. In particular, that for the climate is "the largest single investment in the history of our clean energy economy", highlights the White House, recalling the goal of cutting the reduction of greenhouse gases by 2030 by "over one gigaton, or billion metric tons, at least 10 times larger than any law Congress has ever passed. "

Biden would have delayed the departure for the G20 in Rome by a few hours precisely to define the details of the plan.

According to the US media, the consensus of the whole party on his agenda is now awaited, which would allow him to fly to the G20 and then to the COP26 with a great success in domestic politics.

After months of tough and thoughtful negotiations, we have a framework that I believe can pass.

I'll be speaking more about it at 11:30, but you can read the details here: https://t.co/a2hRqdZ6wa.

For too long, the advances read, the economy has worked great for a few, while working families are being crushed. The plan targets the middle class, the backbone of the country, and will enable the United States to achieve its climate goals, create millions of well-paid jobs, enable more Americans to become and remain "workforce" and grow the bottom-up and outward economy.

Among the main innovations of the plan, called "Build back better framework", those concerning the school starting from kindergarten, the care of the disabled and in general aid to caregivers, the concessions for the transition to renewable energies and the strengthening of health care.

In particular, it includes free kindergarten for all 3- and 4-year-olds, bringing the number of children with access to high-quality and affordable childcare services to around 20 million. Significant investments are also planned to address the climate crisis, a priority on the president's agenda, with tax credits for Americans installing solar panels and for purchasing electric vehicles.

Also included in the plan is a cost reduction for the middle class, by increasing affordable housing, and an extension of the income tax credit.

"It will be the largest effort to combat climate change in history, a historic tax cut for tens of millions of middle-class families, and the largest expansion of affordable health care in a decade," commented a senior official. of the Administration.
