• Events Okupan the social housing of a foundation for people with autism

The

four squatters

who a month ago usurped

a

sheltered

apartment in Rivas Vaciamadrid

dedicated to helping autistic young people left the premises voluntarily this Wednesday after the intervention of the Civil Guard, as reported by a spokesperson for the Madrid Command.

It was 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday when the squatters left the property and took out their belongings after negotiating with agents of the Benemérita.

They were not arrested, although an alleged crime of usurpation weighs on them, which is already being investigated by a Court of Arganda del Rey.

Subsequently, the

Aucavi Foundation

, owner of the social floor, has entered the house and has verified that there was some damage and that at least one television had disappeared.

However, he has shown his satisfaction and hopes to return to work with young autism in the shortest possible time.

A month of uncertainty

The house in question was usurped between September 27 and 30 by some young people who claim to have no other home.

The person in charge of Aucavi, with the intermediation of the Civil Guard, was then able to speak with the three or four young people who, after forcing the lock and after this conversation

, promised to leave it

within eleven days.

But on October 12 these people expressed their refusal to leave the apartment.

For this reason, the foundation filed the corresponding complaint in the courts of Arganda del Rey.

After the concentrations at the door of the premises, the squatters promised to leave it in a few days.
