Today, His Excellency President Waffle Ramkalawan of the Republic of Seychelles witnessed his country's celebration of its National Day at Expo 2020 Dubai amid a range of cultural and entertainment activities, including performances broadcast live at Al Wasl Square, the Seychelles Pavilion and throughout the international event.
His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Commissioner General of Expo 2020 Dubai, received President Waffle Ramkallawan, welcoming the participation of Seychelles in the most important cultural and civilization event in the world, which is being held in the region for the first time.
His Excellency President Waffle Ramkallawan described Expo 2020 Dubai as a model of interdependence and communication between the countries of the world, and said that this huge gathering, which includes 192 countries, would instill a spirit of leadership, innovation and cooperation to meet the current and future needs of our planet.
His Excellency added: If we take advantage of all the unique capabilities offered by this great event to achieve unprecedented communication and cooperation between the countries of the world and cooperation among them, then Expo 2020 will become the most important station for providing solutions to all the problems of our planet, and this great event is held in the right place and time to meet innovators and thinkers. and business owners in one place.
President Ramkalawan pointed out that the Seychelles pavilion witnessed a large number of visitors, which achieves the main goal of his country's participation in the midst of such a large number of countries.
His Excellency said: This pavilion has helped many people get to know Seychelles and discover what is in it, and we hope that Expo 2020 Dubai will be the start of important cooperation with the UAE and the countries of the world.
He added: I am confident in our ability to attract thousands of visitors to Seychelles, and we hope that many will choose Seychelles as their destination on their next visits.
For his part, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Excellency President Wavil Ramkalwan, President of the Republic of Seychelles, First Lady Linda Ramkaloan, and His Excellency Jean Claude Adrian, Ambassador of Seychelles to the UAE, Commissioner-General of his country at Expo 2020 Dubai and his team for the exceptional participation of Seychelles in this important international event.
