At 4 pm on Thursday, the rescue service was alerted to a fire in a villa in central Piteå.
- It is burning quite strongly, smoke divers are on their way in now, says Torbjörn Johansson, rescue chief in Piteå.
No person should be left in the villa.
It is currently unclear if anyone was injured.
