Getting help from the social services in Spånga-Tensta can be difficult, says Björn Mattsson.

- I was refused to travel and visit my daughter in Sundsvall on her 18th birthday.

So I could not afford to go.

Once I appealed and got it right in court, the birthday was already over.

She was disappointed and hurt, and it was difficult to explain, says Björn Mattsson.

When he was at his worst, he sat homeless at Centralen with a bag under his arm.

Explains over and over again

But now he has to explain his situation over and over again to a steady stream of administrators, deputy managers and other staff in the social services office.

Abdi Nur-isse is head of the department for Individual and Family in Spånga-Tensta.

He declined to comment on the situation to SVT News.

- Our ambition is to have a good continuity, he writes in a short email to SVT Stockholm.
