From Malaysia, the conspirator Rémy Daillet mounted a coup, dubbed "Operation Azur", to try to overthrow the French government and seize the Elysee Palace.

Indicted last Friday, the former MoDem executive planned to strike hard.

A sprawling project that will never see the light of day.

Rémy Daillet, figure of conspiracy and ex-cadre of the MoDem, mounted a coup d'etat project from Malaysia, called "Operation Azur", in an attempt to overthrow the French government and seize the Elysee Palace.

According to porch intelligence sources, the 55-year-old wanted to establish a new power by the people.

To carry out this operation, the conspirator had surrounded himself with a large network with 300 partisans distributed under the command of regional chiefs.

Other places of power targeted

According to information from Europe 1, in this large network, there are many police and gendarmes who are no longer active, but also soldiers. Among them, a former lieutenant-colonel of the army, decorated with the Legion of Honor. On D-Day, Rémy Daillet planned to reunite his troops in Paris with shields and homemade bombs. In front of the Elysee Palace, some had the task of occupying the police in order to leave the field open to attackers of the buildings.

In addition to the presidential palace, other places of power were targeted: the National Assembly, the Senate, the Ministry of the Armed Forces.

At the same time, activists reportedly stormed a television or radio station to broadcast their propaganda.

Involved in the kidnapping of little Mia last April, Rémy Daillet was indicted on Friday for terrorism, like eleven other people for the time being in this case.
