The police had made 21 arrests.

Several people were tried in Marseille for alleged acts of degradation, possession of a rocket, violence against persons holding public authority, contempt, rebellion and intrusion on the ground, either near or inside the Vélodrome stadium, during the match between Olympique de Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain.

Among the 21 people arrested, 17 were taken into custody.

According to the Marseille prosecutor's office, three people were sentenced to terms ranging from four months suspended to two years firm and two to fines, while the five were on trial on prior admission of guilt.

And all of them were banned from the stadium for a year.

An accused was sentenced to six months of electronic bracelet and a year of stadium ban after being tried in immediate appearance.

Others were sentenced to fines, or received reminders of the law, as well as the obligation to follow a citizenship course.

Four other people will be judged later, while two were the subject of a classification without continuation.
