“I think that this is an insult to the memory of the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, respectively, his statements fall under criminal responsibility.

According to Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia, this is the dissemination of information expressing clear disrespect for society about the days of military glory and memorable dates in Russia, ”the letter signed by Borodin says.

The public activists ask the Prosecutor General's Office to check the circumstances set out in the letter, take measures of the prosecutor's response and initiate a criminal case.

Earlier, the chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to check the statement of Morgenstern.

Morgenstern's lawyer announced the rapper's readiness to explain his statement to the UK.

On October 25, it became known that Morgenstern doubted the need to celebrate Victory Day.

Later, State Duma deputy Mikhail Romanov proposed to study the rapper's statement.
