President Moon Jae-in prayed for the well-being of the 13th President Roh Tae-woo, who passed away yesterday (26th), and offered his condolences to the bereaved family, the Blue House said.

President Moon said about Mr. Roh this morning, "There are not many historical mistakes, such as the forced suppression of the May 18 pro-democracy movement and the military coup on December 12, but there were also achievements such as the successful hosting of the 1988 Olympic Games, the promotion of the Northern Policy, and the adoption of the Inter-Korean Basic Agreement." Blue House spokesperson Park Kyung-mi said at a briefing.

President Moon sent harmony to Mr. Roh's burial place at the funeral home of Seoul National University Hospital earlier.
