"A long-term program for promoting youth employment has been developed until 2030, it is planned that the implementation of its measures will allow annual coverage of 380 thousand people with direct measures and about 5 million people - indirectly," RIA Novosti quotes Golikova as saying.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the total number of officially unemployed in Russia decreased by 2.8 million people compared to September 2020. 

“We forecast that the number of people employed in classical forms of employment will decrease by 12%,” Tatiana Golikova said at the labor and employment forum “The Future of the World of Work in Russia”.

Earlier, Golikova spoke about the situation with unemployment in Russia.

The Russian government has extended the simplified registration procedure for the unemployed until December 31.
