In celebration of Expo 2020 Dubai, participants in the Jewelery and Watches Exhibition 2021, which started its 28th session at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, the day before yesterday, and will continue until October 30, were keen to express their pride in the global event hosted by Dubai, and is being held for the first time. In the region, by offering exclusive designs that celebrate this event, and are inspired by its ancient golden emblem.

Emirati jewelry designer, Zahra Ahmed Al Marar, founder of "Zahra Jewelery", presented a necklace bearing the name "Expo 2020", which she designed at the beginning of 2020.

Al-Marar, who graduated from Zayed University in 2019, told "Emirates Today" that the diamond-encrusted necklace is a tribute to the message of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, when he revealed the slogan "Expo Dubai." In it, His Highness said: “The slogan is a message to our people that we are the people of a civilization that has gone down in history, and we preserve our history. We were a link with ancient civilizations, and we will remain a meeting point and civilized communication. And we will continue to look forward to meeting other civilizations, and the capital of creativity,” pointing out that she was inspired by the design of the necklace from the design of the “Expo logo” inspired by a unique artifact of special value, which was among the collectibles found at the Saruq Al-Hadid site. A golden ring that has its roots in the depths of history, and has its distinctive significance, and it turns out that it was connected to a larger chain or necklace.

Al Shamsi Jewelry displayed a set of pieces inspired by the Expo 2020 logo as well, along with a group of necklaces representing the map of the United Arab Emirates, and displayed for the first time at the Jewelery and Watches Exhibition in Abu Dhabi.

The Expo 2020 collection includes different designs of rings and bracelets, gold-plated in multiple colors, which gives it a youthful character, and is also characterized by being suitable for young men and girls.

The designer, Tariq Riad, presented a collection of his exclusive collection of rings bearing the name UAE50, which celebrates the ancient history of the UAE and the golden jubilee of the country, including the “Al Jahili” ring, made of rose gold and plated with platinum, and studded with more than 400 stones of diamonds and colored gemstones. It is the castle that inspired the design of the UAE pavilion at the "Expo Hannover" in Germany 2000, where the pavilion was chosen as one of the top 10 pavilions in the exhibition.
