Last February, her dog, an American Staffordshire, bit and killed a cat in Criel-sur-Mer.
The dog was neither vaccinated nor insured
The owner of the small animal quickly realized that his cat had left his home.
Worried, he then ran after her so that the neighbor's dog, present in his enclosure, could not reach him.
But the moment he managed to grab his cat, the dog jumped on him and badly bit the little animal.
The man was injured, the cat did not survive.
According to the investigation by the gendarmes, the dog was neither vaccinated nor insured and had not been subjected to a behavioral assessment at the time of the facts.
Obligations, however, imposed on owners of dogs deemed dangerous like this one.
At the hearing, the owner of the American Staffordshire said everything was in order today.
