Battles continue in southern Marib... and militias suffer heavy losses

The media center of the Yemeni army confirmed the continuation of the battles in separate areas in the districts of "Al-Juba and Jabal Murad" in southern Marib, noting that with great support from the fighters of the Arab coalition to support legitimacy, several attacks by the Houthi militia were thwarted, and the militias inflicted heavy losses on their members and their combat equipment.

He added that the forces and tribes fought continuous battles during the past hours against the Houthi militia in separate areas of the Al-Juba district, including the district center in the "Al-Jadida" area, and the Houthis were inflicted with great losses.

The media center indicated that the battles were concentrated in "Najd Shrine, Najd Najda, Al-Bayda - Harib Junction, Jabal Al-Katf, Al-Jadid, Al-Falaj, Yara, and Jabal Murad Junction."

In addition, the Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced the interception and destruction of two booby-trapped drones, launched by the Houthi militia towards Abha airport and Najran, southern Saudi Arabia, stressing the coalition's continued defense of civilians and civilian objects in accordance with international humanitarian law.

The coalition fighters launched intensive raids on Houthi sites, targets and reinforcements in multiple areas of southern and western Ma'rib, which led to the destruction of military vehicles and Houthi sites in the districts of Al-Juba, Jabal Murad, Sirwah, Madghal and Majzar in Ma'rib Governorate.

In Al-Jawf, coalition warplanes demolished a Houthi site containing a variety of modern weapons, in the Al-Ajasher area, and a quantity of weapons were destroyed, in addition to killing and wounding Houthi elements.

In Hajjah, the coalition fighters destroyed Houthi reinforcements, while moving towards the contact areas in the Hayran district, which led to the destruction of vehicles and the death and injury of a number of Houthis, and this coincided with renewed confrontations between the Yemeni army forces and the resistance on the one hand, and the Houthi militia on the other.

In Hodeidah, the Houthi militia continued to target civilians and farms in the seam areas of "Al-Tuhayta, Hays, Al-Durayhimi, Beit Al-Faqih, and east of the city of Hodeidah."

A civilian named Osama Ali Saghir was wounded by a Houthi sniper while he was working on building his house in the Raba` al-Hadrami neighborhood in the city of Hais.

In Al-Bayda, the mutual shelling between the joint and southern forces on the one hand, and the Houthi militias on the other hand, was renewed on the Thara front in the Mukayras district on the outskirts of Abyan governorate, after the Houthis attempted to advance towards the joint and southern sites in the "Al-Kur Mountains, Al-Alb and Aden site" overlooking the Abyan Loader. And field sources confirmed that the Houthi militias have incurred great losses.
