Yesterday, Monday, the US administration said that Tel Aviv had not informed it in advance of its intention to classify 6 Palestinian institutions as terrorist organizations, which belies the Israeli narrative in this regard.

This came in a press statement by US State Department spokesman Ned Price, in response to a question about Tel Aviv's insistence that it notified the United States before listing Palestinian institutions as terrorist organizations.

"To our knowledge, we have not received accurate and specific notification of imminent ratings of this nature," Price said.

And last Friday, the US State Department revealed for the first time that the Israeli government did not notify Washington before designating 6 Palestinian non-governmental organizations as terrorist organizations.

Price made it clear at the time that Washington would ask Tel Aviv to clarify the grounds it had adopted for classifying Palestinian civil organizations as terrorist organizations.

Last Friday, the Israeli government announced the expulsion of 6 Palestinian civil institutions from the law, under the pretext of their association with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

And the Israeli newspaper "Jerusalem Post" said - on its website - that the decision was issued by the Israeli Ministry of Justice.

She added that the decision includes the Addameer Foundation for Prisoner Care and Human Rights, the Law Foundation for Human Rights, the Bisan Center, the Samidoun Network for the Defense of Prisoners, the International Movement for the Defense of the Child - Palestine, and the Union of Agricultural Work Committees.

The Israeli newspaper pointed out that the decision classified these institutions as the arm of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

Israel classifies the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine as a terrorist organization.

For years, Israel has banned dozens of human rights and humanitarian organizations operating in the Palestinian territories.
