The Israeli army conducts an exercise near Gaza in preparation for the "next battle"

Today, Tuesday, the Israeli army launched a military exercise for the Gaza Division, which is scheduled to continue until tomorrow.

"The area will witness active movements of security vehicles and explosions will be heard, in addition to the deployment of roadblocks on some roads without actually closing them," Avichai Adraee, the Israeli army's spokesman for Arab media, wrote on his Twitter account.

The exercise aims to raise the readiness of the army forces to protect the region.

Adraei added that "the exercise will examine the lessons learned from the (guardian of the fences) operation, which took place months ago, and test the forces' readiness in the face of a large number of offensive scenarios that may be launched from Gaza in the next battle."
