The focus is on sustainability to the point that 66% are aware of the proposal contained in the "Fit for 55", the European Union reform package to reduce greenhouse gas emissions presented in July, which provides, from 2035, the obligation for manufacturers to produce only zero-emission cars and 82% of respondents declared themselves in favor of this obligation.66% of respondents believe that the increased use of electric cars will have a positive impact on the environment.

However, some concerns are still present, such as affordability (for 78% of respondents) and management of the end of life of the batteries (for 87% of the sample). Sustainable mobility, however, does not only involve electrified cars. Eight out of ten respondents believe that the combined offer of different options contributes to a greener mobility and 82% hope for the diffusion of solutions that allow the integrated management of the various mobility possibilities according to a MaaS (Mobility as a Service) approach.

Soft mobility is also very popular: as many as 84% say they are in favor of the line of administrations in large cities that encourages forms of mobility alternative to the car, such as the creation of cycle paths.

It should be noted that 56% declared themselves very favorable, a percentage which rises to 75% in the age group between 18 and 24 years.

In light of all this, more than 20% of respondents think they will not need their own car in the near future.

Among the alternatives, the rental conquers the first place with 31% of preferences.

This is followed by the use of other proprietary vehicles, including bicycles, scooters and scooters (27%) and car sharing (25%).
