A lifeless body was found this Saturday in Barras (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence) in the first minutes of a beat that mobilized 70 people to find Pascale Thual.

The latter left her home in Grau-du-Roi (Gard) on September 21 with her own car.

The public prosecutor of Digne-les-Bains quoted by

Le Dauphiné Libéré

mentioned the discovery of "a body remains".

Investigations continue

"Insofar as the place of discovery is close to that of the vehicle, one can think that it is about the missing", indicated the magistrate. Pascale Thual's car was found on October 18 in Barras. The investigation is continuing. An autopsy should be performed soon to determine the identity of the victim and try to define the causes of death. The body is now in the forensic institute in Marseille.

A call for witnesses for a disturbing disappearance had been sent out by the gendarmerie in charge of the investigation.

Pascale Thual had been seen one last time at a service station in Manosque (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence).

His trace was then lost.

The mother of two had left without her cell phone and antidepressants.

The hypothesis of a voluntary disappearance had the preference of the investigators.
