Marine Le Pen met Viktor Orban in Budapest on Tuesday, a month after Eric Zemmour.
It is the first time that the populist Prime Minister of Hungary has received her.
A reception with great fanfare but the RN candidate left without firm support from the European nationalist leader.

A procession of black sedans, a red carpet at the seat of government, a welcome from the Head of State and a press conference in front of French and Hungarian flags… Marine Le Pen and Viktor Orban savor their understanding.

Between Zemmour or Le Pen, Orban refuses to choose
But the honeymoon doesn't go any further.
After receiving Eric Zemmour last month, Viktor Orban refuses to choose between the polemicist and the RN candidate.

We respect the French people.
We do not think at all that we should take a position on a decision which only concerns the French people.
Especially if it is a question of people,
”he said.
No support from near or far in the presidential campaign, therefore, and no concrete progress either on the creation of a new sovereignist group in the European Parliament.
