From the beginning, the idea was to leave the restaurant industry.

Isaac Iliadis had worked for over 20 years with the restaurant in Knivsta and after the fire there was no motivation to start again.

The turning point came when he felt the support of the locals.

- We received flowers, letters and text messages where they asked us to build the restaurant again.

That made me and my wife decide, says Isaac Iliadis.

"Our third child"

After the fire, the police drew up a report of arson, but the investigation has been closed.

- The restaurant meant a lot to me.

I have two sons, but this was our third child, says Isaac Iliadis.

Now it is thought that Iliadis will build the popular restaurant again.

Which P4 Uppland was the first to report on.

The new restaurant is expected to be ready in the spring of 2022.

In the clip above, he talks about the new plans - at the same time as he shows around among the rubble of the old one.
