Regarding the funeral process for former President Roh Tae-woo, who died today (26th), Yoo Young-min, chief of staff of the President, explained, "It is possible to hold a funeral as a national funeral, but the procedure is necessary."

In the afternoon of the National Assembly Steering Committee audit this afternoon, when Rep. Yoon Young-deok, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, asked if former President Roh was the head of state, he answered as follows.

Director Yoo said, "There is no stipulation of 'deprivation of courtesy' as a reason that may restrict the implementation of the head of state."

However, he added, “we will discuss more in the future.”

Regarding whether ex-President Roh can be buried in a national cemetery, Yoo said, "Another procedure is necessary." I did.

Rep. Yoon said, "Mr. Roh was sentenced to 17 years in prison by the Supreme Court, and many people are pointing out that Mr. Roh is clearly responsible for the 12/12 civil war and the 5/18 Gwangju Massacre." I paid.

Rep. Yoon continued, "The people will not be able to comprehend that the people should treat a power usurper and a dictator with respect to a dictator who slaughtered the people with state power."
