A 33-year-old man was sentenced for several car thefts to 30 months in prison on Wednesday, October 20.

The defendant admitted to having stolen four vehicles from the private hospital in western Paris of Trappes, in the Yvelines.

Two days before his conviction, the thirty-something had been arrested in Paris.

He was driving under the influence of alcohol.

During their check, the police found that the car he was driving had been stolen from the parking lot of the Trappes hospital.

Helped by an accomplice

Since August, the man has actually committed three other thefts of vehicles belonging to caregivers of this health facility, reports 78actu.

“With an accomplice, he entered the changing rooms of the nursing staff.

There, he seized handbags, wallets and car keys, ”revealed a source familiar with the matter.

The thief also raged in the hospital cafeteria.

In disguise, he had broken in and left with the cash and computers.
