In order to improve the turnout of the House of Representatives election, Mitake Town, Gifu Prefecture, distributes a unique voted certificate with a Sengoku warlord to those who have finished voting.

The Election Commission of Mitake Town has been handing out original voting certificates every time since the 2017 prefectural governor's election to increase the turnout.

In this House of Representatives election, we prepared two types, one with the figures of Sengoku warlords and Kani Saizo, who are related to the local area, and the other with a large red seal of the Election Commission designed in the style of a red stamp.

In order to alleviate the congestion on the election day as a countermeasure against the infection of the new corona, only the red stamp version is given to the voting certificate on the election day, and those who voted before the deadline can also choose the military commander version.

According to the town, the number of people who voted early in this House of Representatives election by the 24th was 1225, which is about twice as many as the last election four years ago.

Mr. Tomoki Mino of the Mitake Town Election Commission said, "I can expect to avoid congestion on the election day with the voted certificate, and I also want to convey the charm of the area such as military commanders related to the town."
