Last week, the gendarmes of the motorized peloton of Nozay (Loire-Atlantique), north of Nantes, arrested the driver of a suspicious-looking heavy truck.

Interested by the loading of the well-filled truck, the gendarmes accompanied him to the Puceul area, where he was weighed.

The scale spoke: not having to exceed a permissible total weight (GVW) of 3.5 tonnes, the truck actually weighed… nearly 10 tonnes (9.840 to be precise).

In overload of 190%, the driver of the heavy vehicle was fined a total of 12 fines of 90 euros, or a total of 1,080 euros.

But the story does not end there.

To complete the picture, the driver left with his truck, although it was supposed to be immobilized.

Dissatisfied with this measure, he then left, without putting on his belt.

Result: two new tickets were sent to him.
