After several postponements and the cancellation of his concert scheduled for next month, the trial of Congolese singer Koffi Olomide opens on Monday before the Versailles Court of Appeal.

Sentenced
at first instance
to a two-year suspended sentence for "rape of a minor under 15",
Koffi Olomide
was acquitted of the charge of "forcible confinement".
Regarding the other three complainants, his former dancers, they accuse him of "forcible confinement and sexual relations".
The prosecution, meanwhile,
had requested 7 years in prison
and appealed the decision.
The facts would have taken place in Asnières
This Monday, the star of the Congolese rumba is again on the dock for facts which allegedly took place between 2002 and 2006 in the singer's villa in Asnières, in the Paris region.
After 11 years of absence, the production has just made the decision to cancel Koffi Olomide's next concert scheduled for the end of November at Paris-La Défense Arena due to the health situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Antoine Agbepa Mumba absent at first instance
Summoned by justice, will Koffi Olomide be present at the hearing?
His real name Antoine Agbepa Mumba, he had not appeared at his trial at first instance, nor at two preliminary meetings during the investigation, causing the issuance of an arrest warrant.
