On October 25, the 50th anniversary meeting of the People's Republic of China to restore its legal seat in the United Nations was held in Beijing.
In response to the US's recent manipulation of the Taiwan issue, claiming that it "wants to help Taiwan'meaningful' participation in UN activities", Cui Tiankai said that this is completely against the historical trend and completely disregarding what the "UN Resolution 2758" actually said.
Cui Tiankai pointed out that the "United Nations Resolution 2758" adopted 50 years ago has made it clear that there is only one China in the world.
"In fact, the Americans also recognized at the time, why they want to'turn the case' now, in fact, there are other plans. But this intention will not succeed, and we will not let it succeed."
Cui Tiankai emphasized that the United Nations today is different from 50 years ago, and it is no longer one of the few major powers.
The United Nations should have a new beginning for more than 70 years, and the world order should also move towards an increasingly fair and reasonable direction.
