It was at the beginning of last week that Färjestadens högstadium sent its high school students home, after the spread of infection increased at the school.

A few days later, Östra School followed, when nine students were found infected.

On Monday this week, the students were back at Färjestadens University.

- It feels great.

But we still think about hand hygiene and keeping distance, and we do not mix classes, says principal Lena Rickardsson.

Last week, the school encouraged all high school students to take the test.

This has resulted in "a handful" of new cases being discovered, according to Lena Rickardsson.

A total of 25 students have been found infected in recent weeks.

Eastern school continues

The eastern school, however, continues with the distance education for the high school students, they must return on Wednesday at the earliest.

- It depends on whether it turns out that there are more cases.

Then maybe there is a reason to let them stay at home for the week, says school principal Mattias Mild.

In weeks 41-43, a total of 19 students were found to be infected with coronavirus.
