The Executive Director of the Institutional Technical Support Sector at the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai, Mohammed Al Mudharreb, confirmed that the authority has completed an update on the smart application “Suhail”, which is intended to help customers navigate within Dubai easily, adding that public bus users can now track their routes in a live broadcast. It conveys to them how close they are to their location.

Al Mudharreb told "Emirates Today" that the authority has completed a project to install the Suhail application code on all public bus stop panels spread throughout the emirate, adding that there is no longer a need to download bus departure schedules, as they can scan on the code available on the board to reveal to them about the number of buses. All information related to the bus's arrival time and location, according to live data about the movement of that bus.

Al Mudharreb added that this live data about the route of public buses was limited to the RTA control center, and bus users were not able to view it, explaining that updating the application provides more features that help road and transportation users to navigate easily.

He pointed out that the application enables the user to manage his Nol account, book taxis and luxury vehicles belonging to the authority, book taxis directed with smart applications and transport vehicles on demand, plan bus trips between cities, in addition to seeing all information regarding public transportation. .
