Turnout for presidential elections in Uzbekistan amounted to 12.3% at 07:00 Moscow time

As RIA Novosti clarifies, over 2.4 million people cast their votes in the elections.

According to the CEC, about 19.86 million voters are registered in Uzbekistan, 10,760 polling stations have been organized.

Earlier, polling stations were opened in Uzbekistan for voting in the presidential elections.

Elections in the country will last until 18:00 Moscow time.

It is noted that the candidate from the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the current president of the country, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has already voted in the presidential elections.
