Taliban commented on Putin's words about the possibility of excluding them from the list of terrorists

This was announced by the representative of the Afghan Foreign Ministry Abdul Kahar Balkhi on his Twitter page.

"The Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan welcomes the statements of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, regarding the exclusion of the names of the leaders of the Emirate from the black list," he wrote.

According to him, "the war has come to an end, the countries of the world must also make positive changes in their relations and approach to Afghanistan."

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during his speech at the plenary session of the Valdai International Discussion Club, said that the decision to exclude the Taliban from the list of terrorist organizations should be made at the UN level.
