Nice overthrows Lyon

A week after its defeat in Troyes (1-0), Nice, led 2-0, overthrew Lyon in the last moments (3-2).

OL, who completely mastered the game for 80 minutes, broke down in the final and even finished ten after the exclusion of Tino Kadewere (85th).

The Lyonnais had opened the scoring by Karl Toko-Ekambi (35th), served superbly by Jérôme Boateng, then Houssem Aouar had doubled the bet (68th).

But the Gones let slip a success that seemed promised to them.

The entry of Youcef Atal was decisive, since the right side first reduced the score (81st), before causing a penalty converted by Andy Delort (89th).

The Algerian is also at the origin of the third goal signed by Evann Guessand, which offered an unexpected victory to the Aiglons (90th + 2).

"We are in control of the match and we go crazy, we go completely out of the box, I don't understand" railed the Rhone side Léo Dubois at the microphone of Prime Video.

Nice is temporarily back on the podium (3rd with 19 points), while Lyon suffered a stoppage (8th, 16 pts).

The Artesians won thanks to goals from Wesley Saïd (14th, 37th), Ignatius Ganago (83rd) and Przemyslaw Frankowski (90th), while Nicolas De Préville had briefly brought the two teams to equality (33rd).

Rennes pass the fifth

Three days after their success in the Europa League Conference on the Slovenian lawn of Mura (2-1), Bruno Genesio's players snatched their fifth consecutive victory in all competitions, the 3rd in L1, by overcoming Strasbourg thanks to a Nayef Aguerd's goal from a corner (82nd).

The Bretons, who temporarily climb to fourth place with 18 units on the clock, have long stumbled against the Alsatian goalkeeper Mats Sels, author of several decisive parades.

But Aguerd, who had been dangerous twice (25th, 73rd), ended up finding the Strasbourg nets on his third opportunity.
