The two sides sent a total of 10 ships and 6 carrier-based helicopters to form a joint formation to conduct joint cruises in the Sea of ​​Japan, the Western Pacific, and the East China Sea, and organize exercises in subjects such as joint sailing, joint maneuvering, and actual use of weapons.

During the cruise, the joint formation strictly abide by the relevant provisions of international law and did not enter the territorial waters of other countries.

  This joint maritime cruise aims to further develop the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era, enhance the joint action capabilities of both parties, and jointly maintain international and regional strategic stability.

This operation is part of the annual cooperation plan between the Chinese and Russian armed forces and is not targeted at third parties.
