“It was decided ... to give the opportunity to work with visitors who, using QR codes, can confirm the presence of vaccination against coronavirus or an infection that has already been transferred,” the press service of the regional government reports with reference to the head of Kamchatka.

It is noted that the system will affect catering establishments, fitness rooms, theaters, museums, libraries, and will also apply to congress and exhibition events and meetings of more than 40 people.

The governor noted that restrictions with QR codes will allow not to completely close public activities, leisure and business.

Earlier, in the Kamchatka Territory, the list of industries, whose workers must undergo mandatory vaccination against coronavirus, was expanded and it was forbidden to hire shift workers who were not vaccinated against COVID-19.

In September, the Ministry of Health of Kamchatka spoke about the situation with the incidence of coronavirus in the region.
