October 23, 2021 Covid-19 cases rise among healthcare workers: this week is 371 compared to 306 in the previous week (3.6% of the total cases in the population).

This was revealed by the extended surveillance report published by the Higher Institute of Health, which completes the weekly monitoring.



In total, there are 144,812 total Covid cases registered among health professionals, of which 1,444 in the last 30 days. Analyzing the trend of cases diagnosed among health professionals, we read in the extended Report, "at the beginning of July there was a slight increase in correspondence with the increase in the number of cases in the remaining population. Starting from the second half of August, the number of cases diagnosed in the population is in sharp decline, while increasing the number of weekly reported cases among health care workers.
