The Pension Fund of Russia explained the procedure for calculating pensions on non-working days.

The fund noted that November 4 and 5 this year are considered holidays on the occasion of National Unity Day, on which neither the PFR employees, nor financial institutions, nor the Russian Post will work.

In this regard, citizens who receive pension payments on these dates will be credited with money in advance, transferred to a card or delivered by mail, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.

At the same time, non-working days announced in Russia against the background of the spread of coronavirus infection will not affect the transfer of pension payments to financial and delivery organizations.

The Pension Fund noted that employees of the department will work from October 30 to November 7 - changes in the schedule may affect only the activities of the PFR client services.

“Therefore, if a person has a need to visit a branch of the fund, it is worthwhile to clarify in advance the work schedules of client services during the period of restrictions.

But the period of non-working days does not affect the transfer of payments to financial and delivery organizations, ”the newspaper writes.

Russian Post branches during the specified period will also work according to the usual schedule, with the exception of three days: on November 4, the branches will be closed, on November 3, they will finish work an hour earlier, and on November 5, work is scheduled on Saturday.

“The current working hours of the branches can be found on the website of the company pochta.ru and in the mobile application.

Twenty-four-hour offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg will work unchanged, "the newspaper quoted the statement of the Post of Russia.

At the same time, pensions and benefits will be delivered according to the schedule agreed with the regional offices of the Pension Fund.

In addition, the newspaper reported that large banks on non-working days will generally work according to the standard schedule.

As a reminder, in Russia, the days from October 30 to November 7 were declared non-working with the preservation of wages in order to slow down the spread of coronavirus infection.

Increase in payments

At the end of September, the Pension Fund told about planned and unplanned cases of increasing pensions during the year.

The department recalled that the increase in payments in connection with reaching 80 years of age, gaining experience in the North or dismissal from work is not tied to fixed dates during the year and is set when appropriate circumstances occur.

“The increase in payments when a pensioner turns 80 occurs from the day he reaches this age.

At the same time, the pensioner himself does not have to do anything to receive the allowance - the Pension Fund automatically sets it according to the available data, ”the fund noted.

In the event that a working pensioner has a new experience in the North, you only need to submit an application to the fund with supporting documents, after which payments will be recalculated from the new month.

At the same time, there are recalculations that are carried out annually on the same dates.

So, on January 1, insurance pensions are indexed, on April 1, state security pensions are increased, and on August 1, the Pension Fund increases the insurance pensions of working pensioners, as well as payments of pension savings based on the results of the investment profitability received, the department recalled.

From July 1, 2021, pensions, monthly payments from maternity capital and a number of other social benefits in Russia can be received only on the card of the MIR payment system or on accounts and deposits with the option of replenishment and withdrawal.

You cannot receive these funds on cards of other payment systems.

The MIR card receives all types of pensions, one-time and urgent payments of pension savings, compensation for caring for disabled citizens, monthly payments for caring for a disabled child and disabled from childhood of group I, federal social supplement to pension, monthly payment in connection with birth second child and a number of other categories of funds.

Initially, the replacement of cards was supposed to be completed by July 1, 2020, however, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the deadline for transferring pensioners to MIR cards was extended several times, including in December 2020 - until July 1, 2021.
