From 02.20 on Saturday night the 23rd to 04.30 on Monday morning the 25th, travelers on the Stockholm-Uppsala route will need to find other solutions as the regular train traffic is closed.
According to Arne Nilsson, project manager at the Swedish Transport Administration, they are working as soon as possible.
But he believes that the work on this scale is time consuming.
Replacement buses installed
For travelers with SL, it is possible to travel by train to Upplands Väsby as usual, after which replacement buses go the rest of the way into Stockholm.
SJ, on the other hand, does not offer replacement buses, but suggests that you take the train via Västerås, which means a 1.5 hour longer journey than usual.
- Be patient and plan your trips between Stockholm and Uppsala well in advance, says Arne Nilsson.
