The issue has not been fully investigated by the lawyers yet, but all indications are that the final report also gives the green light to the region to make the vaccine issue a crucial part in a job interview, which DT was the first to tell.

- Our desire to put patient safety first, it looks like we have legal support for, says regional councilor Ulf Berg (M).

Now the hope is that the report will be completed so that union negotiations can begin next week.

The lawyers have also looked at whether it is possible to ask already employed staff whether they are vaccinated or not and, if necessary, move unvaccinated staff to tasks where they do not risk infecting others.

- And they have come to the conclusion that we can.

This is definitely not about any compulsory vaccination, but if you do not want to take the syringe, you may need to find yourself in a transfer or you will not get the job you are looking for, says Ulf Berg.
