"The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to transfer the criminal case for further thorough and comprehensive investigation to the Main Investigation Department of the central office of the department," the statement says.
According to the investigation, as a result of the fire, 17 people were injured, 15 of them died, one was hospitalized.
“The fate of another person remains unknown,” the department explained.
