The authorities of the Ryazan region confirmed the death of 17 people in an emergency at the plant

“Search and rescue work has been completed.

17 dead, ”local authorities said. 

Earlier, the acting head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Alexander Chupriyan, said that an explosion had occurred in the powder shop at a plant in the Ryazan region.

 In the Ryazan region, October 25 is declared a day of mourning.

A resident of the village of Lesnoy told RT that all those who died as a result of an emergency in the Ryazan region had children.
