On Sunday, the climate policy spokespersons for the eight parliamentary parties will meet for a two-hour climate hearing.

The topics for the evening's program are transport, industry, electricity and food.

In each subject, four parties will face each other.

Nine researchers, all of whom are experts on climate policy instruments, will also take part in the program.

The researchers will give their picture of the most important measures to achieve the climate goals by 2045 and whether the politicians' measures may be sufficient.

Should be clear to viewers

- Now we will focus on what each individual party has for solutions and what they want to do.

We believe that there is a great interest from TV viewers to hear it rather than the rather polarized political debate where we accuse each other of not doing enough, says Camilla Kvartoft who leads the hearing together with Vetenskapsredaktionen's Johan Bergendorff.

At the end of the hearing, all eight climate policy spokespersons will be present and then the idea is to try to define which issues they agree on.

- It is our goal that we should ask questions so that it becomes clear where they think differently without them having to scold a lot of each other, says Johan Bergendorff.
